We do not recommend drip irrigation for watering grass in Brevard County.

RECLAIMED SYSTEMS
Many areas in Brevard provide reclaimed water for irrigation. Reclaimed water is treated sewage that is sent back to our lawn's irrigation system. Reclaimed is a great way to save water and provides some nutrients for green grass. But, there are several drawbacks to reclaimed water in Brevard.
Two of the major issues are that there isn't enough reclaimed water in the dry season, so it runs out, leaving you helpless to keep your landscape alive and healthy. And people tend to use too much reclaimed water when it is available, helping weeds to grow while leaving the grass to grow shallow roots (that attract root-eating grub worms). And then, when there isn't enough water, the shallow rooted grass gets stressed and dies while the deep rooted grass can withstand a reasonable amount of drought.
